Accountabilities
  • Manage category merchandising: Own digital merchandising execution for an assigned product category, including promotional campaigns, seasonal events, product launches, and ongoing shopping experience improvements.
  • Optimize digital customer journeys: Improve digital touchpoints across inbound channels, including email, search, and social media, to increase product discovery, engagement, and traffic.
  • Drive performance through analytics: Use tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics to assess results, identify growth opportunities, and optimize key performance indicators.
  • Improve product discoverability: Optimize product placement, category navigation, on-site search, and other website elements to make it easier for customers to find relevant products and complete purchases.
  • Align merchandising with commercial priorities: Review forecasts and coordinate featured product selections with customer demand, vendor priorities, promotional calendars, and inventory availability.
  • Monitor business performance: Track key e-commerce metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and profitability, to evaluate merchandising effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing, design, analytics, SEO, and other merchandising stakeholders to coordinate campaigns and deliver consistent, effective digital experiences.
  • Support strategic initiatives: Contribute to broader merchandising projects, share insights with colleagues, and help develop and improve team processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain execution quality: Ensure merchandising activities, promotional content, and product information are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements

  • Analytics proficiency: Experience using digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics to interpret performance data and identify actionable opportunities.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and content management systems (CMS), with the ability to manage and optimize digital content and merchandising activities.
  • E-commerce knowledge: Strong understanding of digital merchandising principles, online shopping behavior, product discoverability, conversion optimization, and customer experience.
  • Commercial acumen: Familiarity with pricing strategies, profitability, product performance, and basic profit-and-loss (P&L) concepts.
  • Performance measurement: Understanding of key digital performance indicators, including website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and other relevant e-commerce metrics.
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to interpret data, recognize trends, evaluate forecasts, and translate insights into practical merchandising recommendations.
  • Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills and the commitment to maintaining accurate product information, promotional content, and digital experiences.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and contribute to shared objectives.
  • Adaptability and initiative: A proactive mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while taking ownership of projects and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuous improvement: An interest in developing new skills, sharing knowledge, contributing to team development, and helping evolve digital merchandising best practices.
Benefits
