Job description

Marketing and Partnerships Full Time Canada Remote $60,000 - $80,000 CAD per year

Full Time, Remote – Montreal/Toronto, Canada
Who We Are

At NMG, we’re building the future of local media by bringing together content, creators and communities. Through Narcity.com, MTLBlog.com, Rally and Locals.tv, we reach millions of Canadians every month across social, digital and creator-led platforms. From original storytelling and trending culture to local experiences and creator content, we help audiences discover what’s happening around them and help brands connect with communities in ways that feel relevant and authentic.

Your Team

The Marketing and Partnerships team at Narcity Media is a high-energy group dedicated to storytelling and revenue growth. We bridge the gap between our audience insights and our clients' objectives, ensuring every campaign is impactful and aligned with Narcity's brand identity. We value creative problem-solving, hustle, and the ability to turn data into marketable narratives.

Your Mission

We’re looking for a hands‑on Digital Marketing Specialist to help turn Narcity's products, campaigns, insights and ideas into consistent marketing that supports our B2B marketing and sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized and wants the opportunity to take real ownership while supporting B2B marketing and sales.

What You'll Do

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Own Narcity's B2B marketing calendar and coordinate campaigns around key client planning moments such as Summer, Back to School, Holidays, Black Friday and New Year.
  • Develop a weekly client‑facing marketing touchpoint featuring campaigns, products, insights, trends and ideas from across Narcity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to launch sales enablement materials including vertical one‑pagers, product stories, case studies, presentations and campaign examples.
  • Turn Narcity's audience research and insights into simple, marketable stories for clients, sales materials, social content and thought leadership.
  • Support the marketing of Narcity events and help turn them into content before, during and after each event.
  • Help manage Narcity's B2B social presence and package ideas effectively for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Coordinate with creators on a day‑to‑day basis to facilitate content production.
Tracking & Performance
  • Work closely with Sales, Product and Leadership to identify strong stories and get them into market.
  • Track performance and help connect marketing activity to engagement, leads and influenced revenue.
  • Turn fragmented marketing activities into repeatable workflows, processes and systems.
You Must Have
  • 2–4 years of marketing experience, ideally with exposure to B2B, media, advertising or agency environments.
  • An AI‑native / AI‑first operator who proactively uses tools like ChatGPT to research, organize information, develop ideas, build workflows and execute faster.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects and stakeholders at once.
  • A hands‑on mindset and willingness to execute, not just strategize.
  • Curiosity about media, advertising, culture and consumer behaviour.
  • Experience in media, advertising, publishing, agencies or creator marketing is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual English/French is required.
  • Understanding of influencer marketing and the creator economy, with experience in this space considered an advantage.
You Are
  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Organized and able to create structure.
  • Creative but commercially minded.
  • Comfortable chasing inputs, deadlines and approvals to keep work moving.
  • Able to think strategically while still being hands‑on.
  • Excited to help build a marketing function rather than inherit a finished playbook.
  • Humility, curiosity, learning velocity, low ego and a willingness to figure things out.
  • Comfortable doing hands‑on and sometimes unglamorous execution work, not just strategy.
Compensation & Structure
  • Full‑time, remote role within Canada, Quebec preferred.
  • Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 CAD annually, depending on experience.
  • Narcity Media offers health benefits, wellness support, home‑office benefits and additional paid time off during our company‑wide holiday break.
  • 2 PTO weeks per year
  • Unwind with an extra week of PTO during our company‑wide end‑of‑the‑year break.
  • Embrace the power of remote work with a $500 allowance for your ideal home office.
  • Prioritize your well‑being with our annual $500 wellness fund.
  • Monthly taxable stipend for phone and internet expenses.
  • Rest easy knowing you're covered with our extensive insurance plan, including vision, dental, extended health care, dependent life insurance, accidental death insurance, life insurance, and long‑term disability.
EQUAL ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITY COMMITMENT

Narcity Media is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and innovative environment. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are committed to providing accommodation throughout our recruitment process.
