Job summary

The Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a creative Marketing Coordinator to join our Bedford, NS marketing team. This early-career role provides hands-on experience across digital campaigns, social media, website management, communications, and analytics.

You’ll collaborate with our design and production teams to deliver engaging campaigns that strengthen our brands across Atlantic Canada, while building practical experience in measurement and optimization.

Qualifications

1–2 years of marketing, communications, or digital marketing experience.
Diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
Experience creating engaging content and storytelling.
Experience with social media, digital marketing, and website content management.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Interest in learning digital marketing tools such as GA, Google Ads, WordPress, Meta, Canva, MS 365, Adobe, Mailchimp.

Responsibilities

Support digital marketing campaigns and online advertising initiatives.
Create, schedule, and publish social media content.
Assist with website updates and SEO initiatives.
Draft marketing and corporate communications.
Assist with monitoring campaign performance and preparing basic marketing reports.
Support recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
Collaborate with our design and visual production teams to deliver engaging marketing campaigns.
Assist with company events, promotional campaigns, and special projects.
