Job summary

Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) in Saskatoon is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to implement and execute SPG's digital marketing and communications activities. The role reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications and is based in Saskatoon; it is a full-time position for an 18-month term.

You will manage digital platforms, create resources, schedule content, deploy digital advertising, and analyze performance.

Qualifications

  • Degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of marketing or communications experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Highly organized with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and eye for design.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with internal and external colleagues.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of brand identity and how to deploy it across assets.
  • Comfortable with a range of software including MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Canva, Hootsuite, GA4, and social platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Implements, executes, and promotes SPG marketing and communications content.
  • Manages and maintains all digital platforms (websites, social media, email marketing, events).
  • Development and editing of digital resources (articles, reports, videos, graphics).
  • In-person and digital event support including registration and logistics.
  • Data mining and reporting on outcomes via analytics and feedback methods.
  • Contributes to budget and workplan development and measurement of SPG’s communications.

Digital Marketing Coordinator (18-month term)

Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and execution of digital marketing and communications activities for SPG.

This is a full-time position and is being recruited to cover an 18-month term.

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Implements, executes, and promotes SPG marketing and communications content including but not limited to creating resources, scheduling content, creating and deploying digital advertising, and monitoring performance and engagements
  • Manages and maintains all digital platforms including but not limited to websites, social media including advertising, email marketing platforms, online and virtual events, and analytics aggregators
  • Development, including review and editing, of digital resources including but not limited to articles, reports, fact sheets, videos, podcasts, graphics
  • In-person and digital event support as needed including registration management, host support and logistics, etc.
  • Compiling, data mining, and reporting on the outcomes of all digital marketing and communications activities and engagement via analytics and other feedback methods
  • Contributes budget and workplan development and measurement of SPG’s communications program
Qualifications:
  • Degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field
  • 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Highly organized with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and programs at once
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and an eye for design
  • Team player with ability to collaborate well with internal and external colleagues
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Understanding of brand identity and how to deploy it across an organization’s assets
  • Comfortable with a range of software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Canva, Hootsuite, GA4, X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and open to learning new programs as plans and technology continue to evolve
