We’re hiring a Digital Marketing Associate to support BURNCO’s social media, digital campaigns, email marketing, website content, and brand storytelling across Canada and the United States. If you bring creativity, hands-on digital marketing experience, and a passion for connecting people with meaningful stories, we want to hear from you!

As BURNCO’s Digital Marketing Associate, you’ll bring our people, projects, communities, and operational successes to life through engaging digital content and campaigns. Working closely with the Director, Marketing & Communications, you’ll support marketing, communications, employer brand, recruitment, community engagement, and reputation-building objectives across North America. This role is a great fit for someone who combines creativity, storytelling, digital marketing expertise, relationship building, and strong execution.

What you will be doing

  • Execute email marketing campaigns and newsletters, including list management, segmentation, templates, testing, compliance, and performance reporting
  • Coordinate paid digital and social advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, setup, budgets, trafficking, optimization, creative coordination, and KPI reporting
  • Maintain our digital presence by coordinating website updates, supporting SEO improvements, monitoring analytics, and working with external web partners when required
  • Maintain an organized digital content library to support ongoing content development, marketing, and communications needs
What we would like from you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of social media and digital marketing experience, including strong organic social media experience
  • Hands-on experience managing paid social and digital advertising, including Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong writing, storytelling, audience engagement, and content creation skills
  • Comfortable shooting and editing short-form video and photography, with strong working knowledge of photography and video editing tools
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, digital analytics, audience insights, and reporting to improve content effectiveness and campaign outcomes
  • Ability to build relationships across operations, regional teams, employees, and stakeholders to gather information and uncover authentic stories
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the initiative to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and deliver high-quality work independently
  • Able and willing to travel to operations, engage directly with employees, and work around industrial environments while following all safety requirements
  • Sound judgment and professionalism when representing BURNCO, with the ability to apply brand standards consistently across digital content, communications, and marketing activities
  • Digital marketing, social media strategy, content marketing, analytics, or advertising platform certifications are considered an asset
