Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or equivalent.
  • Completed internship in dietetics with licensure or eligibility.
  • At least two years of experience in volume food service, ideally in senior living or healthcare.
  • Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to explain nutrition clearly.

Are you passionate about supporting the health and well-being of older adults through personalized nutrition? As a Dietitian at Chartwell, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every resident enjoys delicious, nutritious meals tailored to their needs and preferences. Your expertise will help create a dining experience that supports residents’ health, comfort, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan daily menus and special meals that are nutritious and enjoyable
  • Assess residents’ nutritional needs and monitor their food intake
  • Maintain accurate nutrition records and ensure dietary standards are met
  • Collaborate with care and food teams to support personalized nutrition plans
  • Educate staff, residents, and families on nutrition and special diet
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from a recognized University
  • Completed internship and at least two years’ experience in volume food service, ideally in senior living or healthcare
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain nutrition information clearly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
