Lev Senior Living in Oshawa, ON is seeking a part-time Dietary Server to join our care team. This role starts ASAP with an hourly wage of $19.62 and a schedule of 40 hours bi-weekly, including every other weekend and various shifts (4pm-8pm, 11am-7pm, 11:30am-7:30pm).

The successful candidate will assist with dining services, meal orders, and maintaining a warm, confidential environment for residents and families.

• Must have a Food Handlers Certificate and be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Shows a caring, nurturing attitude toward residents and their families.
• Willingness to work with older adults and be a collaborative team member.

Mansioni

• Ensure mealtimes are a pleasant dining experience for residents and families.
• Deliver services in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality of facility information.
• Assist with dining room setup, take resident meal orders and serve meals.
• Perform cleaning duties as required.
• Prepare beverages, muffins, and lunch items as on the menu.
• Assist the Food Supervisor and report concerns.
• Keep work area clean and follow cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities:

• The dietary server is responsible for ensuring that all mealtimes are a pleasant dining experience on a consistent basis for the resident and their families.
• To ensure that services are delivered in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality of all facility information.
• Assist with preparation and set up of dining rooms for meal service, take resident meal orders and serve meals.
• Cleaning duties as required
• Ability to prepare beverages, muffins & lunch items on the menu.
• Assist the Food Supervisor and provides updates on any concerns.
• Maintains a clean and neat work area ensuring that they are following scheduled cleaning tasks.
