Job summary

Sienna Senior Living Cheltenham Community in North York is seeking a Dietary Aide for permanent part-time roles. You will support residents by preparing meals, serving food, and ensuring dining areas are clean and safe, while respecting diets and preferences.

This role values compassionate care, teamwork, and reliable service in a long-term care setting. Applicants may have a Safe Food Handler's Certificate; successful candidates must pass required checks.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willing to obtain
• You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
• You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
• You may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
• While possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it's not a requirement
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicable to Ontario applicants.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants.
