Eat­onville Care Centre in Etobicoke, Ontario, is hiring a Dietary Aide on a casual basis. You will assist the cook, plate meals, and ensure residents’ dietary needs are met while maintaining food safety and quality.

The role offers flexible hours, competitive wages starting at $23.66/hour, and opportunities for personal and professional growth within a caring team. Prior MOH awareness and food service training are preferred.

Competenze

• Successfully completed or enrolled in a Food Service Work program at a College of applied arts and technology or a Food Services Worker program.
• Or completed an apprenticeship in Cook, Institutional Cook or Assistant Cook under applicable acts.
• Or entered into a registered training agreement in Cook or equivalent.
• Experience in institutional/health care/restaurant food service to perform duties.

Mansioni

• Delivers meals in a courteous manner.
• Assists the cook in preparing and plating food.
• Adheres to residents' dietary requirements and MOH guidelines.
• Follows prescribed diet/texture as directed by RD/MD.
• Maintains cleanliness of service areas and equipment.
• Supports FIFO processes and safety procedures.
• Collaborates with Food Services and other departments.
