Job summary

Beausejour, MB — Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a part-time Dietary Aide for the Supportive Housing unit. Under supervision, you will prepare and serve meals to patients, residents, staff, volunteers, Meals on Wheels, Adult Day programs and visitors, while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications include a minimum Grade 10, a valid Food Handlers Certificate within six months, knowledge of therapeutic diets, and experience in health-care or food-service

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education required.
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate required (to be obtained within six months).
• Knowledge in therapeutic diets and texture modification.
• Experience in a health-care or commercial food service establishment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to patients/residents, staff, volunteers, Meals on Wheels, and visitors in the Supportive Housing setting.
• Ensure high standards of safety, sanitation, and customer service in all duties.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures and health regulations.
