Job summary

Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority in Fisher Branch is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide (0.32 FTE) to support the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority - Fisher Personal Care Home. Under the direction of the Manager, Support Services and Cook, you will assist in food preparation and service to patients, residents, staff and guests.

The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, courteous service and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education required.
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate required (must be obtained within six months). Re-certification must be current and valid.
• Knowledge in therapeutic diets and texture modification.
• Experience in health care or commercial food service establishment.
• Ability to operate required equipment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and service food to patients/residents, staff, volunteers, Meals on Wheels, Supportive Housing, Adult Day, visitors, and catering.
• Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation and comply with policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous and effective customer service aligned with the organization's mission and values.
