Job summary

Golden Life is seeking a Dietary Aide for Ocean Front Village in Courtenay, BC. This permanent, part-time role supports dining and kitchen operations in a seniors care setting, with 6-hour daytime shifts.

You’ll count ingredients, assist with meal service, maintain clean dining areas, and perform light clerical tasks. Completion of Grade 10 required; clearance checks and health screenings are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or higher.
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.

Responsibilities

• Portions out and serves food and beverages in the dining room, gathers and replaces supplies as required.
• Set up, serve, and restock dining areas.
• Deliver food carts and stock neighborhood kitchenettes.

• Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen spaces.
• Complete light clerical tasks as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
