Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to create welcoming dining experiences for older adults. You’ll take and deliver tableside orders, ensure meals are served with warmth, and maintain a clean, organized dining area in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll bring a secondary school education or equivalent, a Food Handler Certification, and experience in serving or customer service, with strong teamwork and communication.

• Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified).
• Experience as server or in customer service role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
