Job summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg is seeking a part-time Diet Office Clerk to support Nutrition and Food Services. You will process diet changes, print tray tickets, maintain records, and communicate with staff.

This in-person role requires English proficiency and keyboard/computer skills, with a 0.50 FTE schedule. The position runs through 2027-10-20 with shifts across days, evenings, and weekends, and may involve standby coverage and meal tray assistance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service preferred.
  • Experience dietary software (CBORD Nutrition Services Suite) and excel spreadsheets.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively, with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook: minimum 70% in each area).

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Physical Requirements
  • Use of computer terminal, fax and telephone for long periods of time. Involves some intermittent standing, walking and carrying.
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently in a time sensitive environment.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
