Job summary

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to service heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will repair vehicles to customer and industry specifications, perform basic welding, and communicate timelines and costs to customers and management.

The role requires two years of heavy‑duty diesel experience, ASE certification or equivalent, and having your own tools or willingness to acquire them as you advance. The position supports growth in a safety‑driven shop environment.

Qualifications

  • Two years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience in heavy‑duty industry.
  • ASE certification or equivalent to the job.
  • Must possess your own tools or be willing to purchase as you progress.

Responsibilities

  • Repair customer vehicles and trailers to specifications.
  • Perform basic welding functions.
  • Inform customer/manager about completion times and costs.
  • Monitor job profit/loss and minimize warranty claims and rework.
  • Submit work orders for invoicing and maintain inventory.

Job Description

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks who will be responsible for repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and all models of trailers to specific customer and industry-standard specifications.

  • Automotive Service Excellence certification appropriate to the job or equivalent
  • Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
  • Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
