Job summary

Tirecraft is seeking a Diesel Service Technician for Tubby’s Truck and Trailer in Dorchester, ON. You will diagnose and repair diesel systems, work with service advisors, and ensure vehicles meet performance specs.

Wages range from $39.00-$44.00 per hour, with afternoon shifts 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Benefits include health and dental coverage, EAP, and employee purchase programs. Apply to join a Canadian-owned automotive team.

Qualifications

• Diesel Service Technician 310T or 310J certification.
• Ability to work independently.
• Intermediate drivability diagnostics proficiency.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Strong communication skills.
• Solid problem solving abilities for independent/team work.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and customer requirements.
• Inspect engines, road test vehicles, and diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace diesel system components: fuel, brakes, steering, suspension, engine, exhaust, cooling, electrical systems.
• Evaluate and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
