Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Saskatoon, Canada, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech IV - CES) to perform maintenance and repairs on complex customer-owned equipment with minimal supervision.

You will work safely and professionally while delivering exceptional service. In this role you will train junior technicians, document all work, and upsell a broad range of equipment to customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
• Upsell and demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
