Job summary

MasterTech in Montreal, QC is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment in a shop setting.

The role offers a day shift (Mon–Fri, 7 AM start) with overtime available, a compensation range of $30.00–$40.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more. Boot and tool reimbursement, RRSP match, and quarterly profit sharing are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience with heavy equipment or diesel trucks preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Job DescriptionJob Description MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in the Montreal, QC area.

The successful Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment in a shop setting.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour. Higher wages available based on experience.
• Comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, etc.

• 2 weeks vacation, sick days and personal days.

Shift:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7AM start time. Overtime available.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.).
• Previous experience with a heavy equipment or diesel truck dealership preferred.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license in good standing required.
• Has basic to full set of hand tools.
