Job summary

St. Joe's in Hamilton Downtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Dialysis Centre Charlton Campus.

The RN provides patient-centred dialysis care, collaborates with the inter-professional team, and supports complex patient needs across the full continuum of care. Requirements include Ontario RN registration, BCLS/HCP, and 2 years of medical/surgical nursing; dialysis or nephrology credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
• Two years current medical/surgical nursing experience is an asset.
• Current BCLS/HCP certification required.
• Nephrology or dialysis experience preferred.
• Willingness for regular or extended tours and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed dialysis care.
• Collaborate with inter-professional team to manage high-acuity patients.
• Lead delivery of care across preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitation needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care.
