Health Match BC is assisting Vancouver Island Health Authority’s Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo to recruit a Diagnostic Radiologist for full-time or part-time work across Nanaimo facilities, including Nanaimo Regional Hospital and West Coast General Hospital.

Candidates must be eligible for Royal College certification in Diagnostic Radiology and for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC; experience in breast imaging is a plus, and comfort with minor

Role and Facility Information

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to work full time or part time in Nanaimo.

• Nanaimo Regional Hospital
• West Coast General Hospital
• Tofino General Hospital
• Oceanside Urgent Care
• private imaging office

Preference will be given to candidates holding either subspecialty training, or significant clinical experience. We will consider a variety of specialty interests/training. Experience with breast imaging, including screening, would be an asset. The work includes all facets of Medical Imaging and applicants must be comfortable with minor interventional procedures.

Candidates must be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
