Compensation & Shifts

Shifts: Variable 24/7 and On-call, including Day, Evening, Night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Position Summary

Join the JDMI at UHN, one of Canada's largest academic medical imaging departments, performing over 750,000 exams annually. Our team of 700+ staff and 90 radiologists uses cutting-edge digital technology to deliver exceptional patient care and imaging quality. We are dedicated to innovation, research, education, and service. As a team member, you will provide diagnostic services and uphold high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functioning of ultrasound and related equipment
  • Prepare reports documenting procedures and test results
  • Participate in teaching, safety, and quality improvement activities
  • Perform related patient care responsibilities to ensure optimal care
Qualifications
  • Current registration with CMRITO and ongoing continuing education
  • Completion of BCLS Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
  • Membership with Sonography Canada (preferred)
  • ARDMS registration in OB and Abdomen (preferred)
  • Sensitivity towards patients in challenging situations
  • Strong collaborative approach and good judgment
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high-volume setting
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes
