The Ottawa Hospital in Ottawa provides advanced interventional radiology services across its Civic and General campuses. This role requires rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends, with 8-hour blocks.

Position Information

This position is for Interventional Radiology.

This position requires rotations at the Civic and General campus.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Must be available for stand by and call back.

Basic Requirements

• Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario;
• Three (3) years previous related experience;
• Eligible for Certification in CPR;
• Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non imaging and patient care applications;
• Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards;
• Ability to assist in invasive procedures;
• Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Ability to multi-task;
• Good problem solving skills;
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Eligible for registration of Interventional Radiology Certificate;
• Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).
