Position: DevOps Team Lead Engineer
What You Will Be Doing
As a DevOps Engineer Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in our Engineering team, working on cutting-edge security and identity products. You will focus on deployment, orchestration, secure communication, and more, using the latest industry technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of build and release pipelines, ensuring their ongoing maintenance
Spearhead the planning and execution of our cloud deployment strategy for optimal resource utilization
Conduct code and documentation reviews, share knowledge, and provide feedback to uphold high standards
Train, coach, and mentor stakeholders on Azure DevOps and Git version control best practices
Advocate for DevOps best practices among development and operations teams
Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to test and resolve deployment issues for new hardware/software
Document procedures and proactively communicate with team members to ensure best practices
Troubleshoot issues and support development teams with project deployments to staging and production environments
Provide constructive feedback and technical recommendations in cross-team planning meetings
Research and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
What You Will Bring to the Table
2+ Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Team Lead
5+ Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
3+ Years of experience working with at least one major cloud provider (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Experience in building CI/CD processes for complex solutions
Proficiency in scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
Expertise in containerization – building, deploying, and managing containers
Experience developing workflows for Kubernetes
Deploying environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaaS) with Terraform
Strong communication and collaboration skills to align development and operations teams
Excellent problem-solving and adaptability to drive continuous improvement
