Availability: Immediate start

Employment type: 1099 independent contractor

Responsibilities

1. In-depth technical experience in RAN Optimization for 5G, 4G, VoLTE, VoNR
2. Knowledge of LTE, 5G SA, 5G NSA, SA Slicing, VoNR, and WiFi
3. Designing methodologies and setting up test scenarios to meet testing targets
4. Optimizing and tuning parameters for 5G, VoNR, VoLTE, and 4G during prelaunch and postlaunch phases
5. Analyzing drive/walk/benchmarking data, including L3/PCAP analysis from logs
6. Managing drive test/benchmarking contracts with third-party companies
7. Proficiency with XCAL, XCAP, QXDM, Wireshark, and QCAT tools
8. Understanding WiFi Connection Managers on UEs
9. Knowledge of MOS and VMOS scores, QoS, and QoE
10. Experience in RAN optimization; DSDS knowledge is a plus

Additional responsibilities

• Managing testing conducted by third-party companies
• Conducting small-scale walk and drive tests as needed
• Performing detailed analysis of log files, focusing on 4G/5G/VoNR WiFi calls and data flows
• Creating presentations for technical and executive audiences
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical skills for data interpretation and actionable insights
• Innovative process development
• Knowledge of Alteryx and SQL is a plus
• Light software development skills are a plus
