Perion builds a full stack ad tech platform enabling digital out of home advertising through programmatic technology. On the buy side, marketers use Perion’s DSP to activate DOOH campaigns in real time based on consumer behavior. On the sell side, DOOH media owners use Perion’s SSP & Ad Server and Header Bidder to manage inventory and drive revenue.

Reporting to the Data Engineering Manager, we are looking for a talented Data Developer to join our audience-focused Data team. We are delivering features based on geospatial movement patterns to optimize ad campaigns and measure effectiveness by interacting with large-scale data. You will work with a team of specialized data engineers to build products that deliver ads globally.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creating big data application code and workflows at scale
• Working closely with a team of mixed engineering roles (frontend, backend, data, QA)
• Code reviewing

What you’ll need to perform in this job:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, time complexity)
• Experience with Python, Java/Scala, SQL
• Experience with batched data processing
• Experience in Kubernetes is an asset
• Experience in Spark is an asset
• Good database skills and experience with large data sets
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
