Job summary

Momentum Developmental Support began as a residential-care system and now focuses on empowering adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The Developmental Support Worker supports clients to maintain safe, healthy lifestyles and promotes independence through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money-management activities, with a focus on FUN each day.

• Highschool Diploma; post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset.
• Experience in a support role with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered an asset.
• Driver's license is required; Medical report, immunization record, TB test, Record of conduct and a Vulnerable Sector Check, Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C required.

Working with clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles, you promote independence based on individual programming through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money management activities. What you'll bring?

A Highschool Diploma (post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset). Experience working in a support role with adults, preferably adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered an asset A driver's license is required as well as a Medical report, including immunization record and Tuberculosis skin test report, Record of conduct and a vulnerable sector check, Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C
