Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) seeks a professional urban planner to lead due diligence, site assessments, and feasibility reviews for diverse projects. You will prepare planning applications, coordinate approvals and permits, and liaise with municipalities and stakeholders throughout the process.

Ideal candidates have MCIP/RPP credentials, a degree in urban planning or related field, and experience in development planning. Strong GIS, MS Office, and project tools proficiency is preferred.

The Successful Applicant
  • Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Land Development, or a related field.
  • MCIP, RPP
  • Experience in development planning, municipal approvals, permitting, land development, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of planning policies, zoning regulations, and development approval processes.
  • Experience preparing planning applications, feasibility assessments, and technical reports.
  • Excellent research, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools; GIS experience is an asset.
  • Comfortable leveraging technology, automation, and digital tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
