Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an accounting professional to manage monthly, quarterly and annual duties for a portfolio of development projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include monthly financial statements, PUD schedules, project setup in YARDI, bank reconciliations, HST/GST remittances, and cash draws.

Qualifications

1-2 years working experience in real estate accounting.
Post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
Experience in preparing financial statements and working papers.
Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Complete monthly, quarterly and annual accounting duties for a portfolio of development projects.
Prepare monthly financial statements and PUD schedules.
Set up development projects in YARDI and perform bank reconciliations.
Process construction draws/cash calls and reconcile project distributions.
Consolidate monthly results for third-party managed projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders on accounting matters and ad hoc analysis.
