Job summary

Highspring is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer in Montreal to join a consulting engagement focused on modernizing enterprise web applications. You will work in an Agile team, leveraging Angular and Java to design solutions, develop features, and ensure code quality.

You will translate business needs into scalable components, participate in architecture reviews, and mentor colleagues to drive technical excellence within fast-paced delivery cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, and debug software solutions according to established plans and delivery timelines.
• Build and support enterprise web applications using Angular and Java technologies in an Agile environment.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable software components.
• Develop a deep understanding of system functionality and business processes to effectively support stakeholders and users.
• Design and model solutions for complex technical challenges while ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review architecture, design, and code deliverables to maintain high quality standards.
• Guide and support development team members to promote technical excellence and timely delivery.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to regression testing strategies that improve application stability and quality.
• Participate in the development and modernization of large-scale systems using modern web technologies.
• Analyze user needs, estimate effort, develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, test, document, and deploy enhancements.
• Collaborate with team members to evaluate technical approaches and build prototypes when appropriate.
