Job summary

Bolton Honda in Ontario seeks a Detailer to join its award-winning team. You will perform detailing, washing, waxing, buffing, interior cleaning, and inspections to meet company standards.

This full-time role offers $20.00–$22.00 per hour, potential annual earnings $40,000–$50,000, health and dental coverage, and opportunities for internal career growth within Performance Auto Group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive detailer experience.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Experience detailing vehicles with professional cleaning chemicals.
• Experience in buffing and reconditioning vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailing services that exceed customer needs.
• Adhere to processes and use cleaning chemicals safely on surfaces.
• Operate automatic and manual vehicles as required.
• Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to company standards.
• Clean windows inside and out, considering tinting agents as needed.
• Visually inspect interior and exterior to ensure standards.
• Organize tools to maintain a clean workstation.
• Comply with safety standards and company policies.
• Other duties as required by management.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

• Perform detailing services that exceed customer’s needs.
• Adhere to processes and procedures while administering professional cleaning chemicals to surfaces.
• Advanced ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles as required.
• Execute the washing, waxing, and buffing of vehicles to company standards.
• Clean vehicle windows inside and out, while considering the proper cleaning products when tinting agents have been applied to windows.
• Initiate visual inspections of the interior and exterior of the vehicle once all tasks are completed to ensure that the product meets customer and company standards.
• Organize cleaning tools and equipment to maintain a clean work station.
• Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 1 year of automotive detailer experience is required.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working in a collaborative environment while providing a positive attitude.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Experience in detailing vehicles using professional cleaning chemicals.
• Experienced in all aspects of vehicle reconditioning.
• Experience in buffing vehicles.
• Ability to utilize power tools while maintaining safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

Job Type:

Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected flat hourly rate):

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour under our skilled trades flat-rate (piece work) compensation plan.

Expected annual earnings:

$40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on historical earnings at this location and typical productivity; actual earnings vary based on individual output and service department repair order volumes.
