Job summary

Performance Auto Group is seeking a high-energy Lot Attendant to join our team in the Downtown Mississauga area. You will check in new vehicles, keep showroom vehicles clean, and support sales with inventory and licensing tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid Ontario Driver's License, and the ability to lift up to 50 kg. Flexible hours and a positive attitude are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of lot attendant experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Will be required to lift up to 50 kg occasionally.
• Must be reliable and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and around a changing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive attitude for customers and staff.
• Ensure all work is thorough, accurate, and timely.
• Check-in new vehicles upon arrival.
• Clean and maintain showroom vehicles daily.
• Assist sales with inventory organization, pre-delivery inspections, fueling, tire and battery checks, and licensing to MTO.
• Manage drop-off/pick-up of licensing documents from MTO.
• Move vehicles as required to maintain customer parking areas.
• Dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the company.
• Perform routine building maintenance as required.
• Operate both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Other duties as required by management.

Here's what you'll deliver:

• Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and our fellow employees.

• Provide support to the sales department with organizing inventory, processing pre-delivery inspections, filling vehicles with gas, checking tire pressure and battery and take licensing to the Ministry of Transportation office.
• Manage the drop-off and pick-up of licensing documents from the local Ministry of Transportation office (MTO).
• Move vehicles as required, in order to maintain customer parking areas.
• Dispose of garbage, recycling, etc., throughout the company, as required.
• Perform and assist in routine building maintenance as required.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $18.00 - $19.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
