Job summary

AutoCanada's Audi Winnipeg location in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards. You will support the service team by maintaining a clean workspace and following safety protocols while delivering high-quality detailing for customer vehicles.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and using power tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Detail the interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
  • Perform detailing activities including vacuuming, deodorizing, washing, and wiping surfaces.
  • Ensure exteriors are clean and smudge-free.
  • Detail interiors, wipe dash, vacuum, and wash floor mats.
  • Apply paint sealant.
  • Clean and polish wheels and rims.
  • Use hand-held tools to detail interiors and exteriors.
  • Notify supervisor or technician of parts needing repair or replacement.
  • Complete quality control checklist.
  • Perform other repair duties as required.

Your area of focus.

The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

What drives your day-to-day?
  • Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
  • Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
  • Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
  • Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
  • Apply paint sealant
  • Clean and polish wheels and rims
  • Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
  • Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement
  • Complete quality control checklist
  • Perform other repair duties as required
