Job summary

Audi Winnipeg is seeking a Detailer to professionally clean interiors and exteriors of customer vehicles at our Winnipeg, MB location. You will perform vacuuming, washing, and polishing, apply paint sealant, and ensure vehicles are smudge-free to meet our quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, the ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions, and strong attention to detail with good customer service.

Qualifications

  • Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Dependable with a strong attention to detail and good customer service.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools is favorable.

Responsibilities

  • Detail interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
  • Vacuum, deodorize, wash and prep surfaces.
  • Apply paint sealant and protect surfaces.
  • Clean and polish wheels and rims; use hand-held detailing tools.
  • Notify supervisor of parts needing repair or replacement.
  • Complete quality control checklist and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
  • Perform other detailing or repair duties as required.

Your area of focus.
  • Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
  • Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
  • Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
  • Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
  • Apply paint sealant
  • Clean and polish wheels and rims
  • Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
  • Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement
  • Complete quality control checklist
  • Perform other repair duties as required

What Are The Must-haves…

  • Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power tools and hand-held equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • You must be legally authorized to work in Canada
