Job summary

Maple Ridge Volkswagen is seeking a Detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards, supporting the service team by keeping a clean, safe workspace and following safety protocols. You will detail interiors/exteriors, apply sealants, polish wheels, and operate handheld tools to ensure customer deliveries meet quality expectations.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license with a clean record, and the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools (power washers an asset).
• Dependable with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to meet physical demands (heavy lifting, standing long periods, use of tools).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
• Perform general car detailing activities, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing.
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free.
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats.
• Apply paint sealant.
• Clean and polish wheels and rims.
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars.
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement.
• Complete quality control checklist.
• Perform other repair duties as required.

Your area of focus.

The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. What drives your day-to-day?
