Job summary

AutoCanada's Edmonton dealership is seeking a Detailer/PPF to prep vehicles to the highest standards and support the detailing department. You will perform hands-on interior and exterior detailing and help ensure every vehicle meets quality before delivery.

You'll supervise detailers, maintain detailing supplies, and contribute to efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment, while upholding safety and organization across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle detailing or a similar hands-on automotive role
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
• Comfortable working with cleaning products, hand tools, and power equipment
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to meet job demands, including standing for long periods and lifting as required
• Strong reliability and a team-first mindset
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily flow of the detailing department and support coordination of work assignments
• Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing to dealership and delivery standards
• Supervise and support detailers to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
• Conduct quality control checks on completed vehicles before customer delivery
• Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and ensure materials are stocked and organized
• Perform general detailing tasks including vacuuming, deodorizing, washing, and polishing vehicles
• Ensure vehicle exteriors are clean, smudge-free, and presentation-ready
• Detail interiors including dashboards, consoles, floor mats, and upholstery care
• Apply paint sealant and polish wheels and rims as required
• Use a variety of hand tools and cleaning equipment, including power washers
• Identify and report any vehicle concerns that may require repair or further attention
• Complete required checklists and documentation accurately and on time
• Support other related duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly

Your area of focus.

The Detailer/PPF plays a key role in ensuring vehicles are prepared and delivered to customers in excellent condition while supporting the day-to-day operations of the detailing department. This role combines hands-on detailing work with coordination support, helping maintain high dealership standards, workflow efficiency, inventory control, and a clean, organized work environment.
