Job summary

Pfaff Subaru in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Detailer to keep vehicles showroom-ready for customers.

You’ll report to the Service Manager, performing exterior washes, interior cleaning, vacuuming, waxing, dressings, and prep show vehicles. The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and efficiency in a fast-moving dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive detailing experience.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Detail oriented, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.
• Clean interior leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals.
• Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surfaces.
• Perform other tasks by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
