The Ian Martin Group is seeking a Desktop Technologist and DevOPS/Cloud Engineer for an onsite role in Toronto, Ontario. The position involves automating endpoint management, patching, and deployment workflows using Intune and Entra ID, with a strong emphasis on PowerShell scripting and automation.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Windows 11 deployment, Autopilot and Defender integration, plus Microsoft 365 endpoint administration.

Qualificações

• Automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash or equivalent to automate server maintenance, patching, monitoring, backups and deployments.
• Intune Windows 11 Advanced Endpoint Support and Microsoft 365 integration experience.
• Entra ID setup, SSO and account provisioning via automated scripts.

Responsabilidades

• Automate server maintenance, patching, monitoring, backups, and deployments.
• Automate scheduled updates via Intune and ensure endpoint patching is current.
• Set up SSO and Entra ID roles and automate account creation.
• Manage Windows 11 deployment, Autopilot, and Defender integration.
• Maintain UpToDate Intune inventory and device compliance policies.

Desktop Technologist and DevOPS/Cloud Engineer

• Location: Toronto, Ontario – (Onsite)


• Pay Rate: Flexible


• Contract Length: 6 Months

Deliverables

• Automate server maintenance, patching, monitoring, backups, and deployments. Automate scheduled updates via intune. Create vulnerability management and patching for endpoints. Create golden packages and push via intune. Complete Intune inventory, making sure all endpoints are updated and patching. Intune Windows 11 Support/Updates - Advanced Endpoint Support. Third party application patching. Setup SSO and Entra ID role and creation of accounts via automated scripts.
