Job summary

Flexstaf IT is seeking a Desktop Technologist and DevOPS/Cloud Engineer to lead cloud migration efforts and provide desk-side end-user support for hardware, software, and business applications. You will build machines, automate tasks, and streamline deployments through the Help Desk system.

Key responsibilities include automating server maintenance, patching, monitoring, backups, and deployments, creating golden packages, and ensuring Intune-managed endpoints are up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Automation and scripting via PowerShell, Python, Bash for server maintenance and deployments.
• Entra ID and Intune expertise for device and identity management.
• Windows 11 support and Microsoft 365 endpoint administration.

Responsibilities

• Automate server maintenance, patching, monitoring, backups, and deployments.
• Automate scheduled updates via Intune and manage Intune inventory.
• Create vulnerability management and patching for endpoints.
• Setup SSO and Entra ID accounts via automated scripts.
• Push golden images via Intune and manage Windows 11 deployment.

Project Description

We are migrating to the cloud and primarily use Microsoft applications. Desktop systems technologist will provide desk side end user support for all hardware, software and business applications, building machines and automate tasks as submitted through the Help Desk incident reporting systems.
