ReNuke Services is seeking a Designer II for our client's site in Cincinnati, OH.

Position Type: Full-time, hybrid (3 days/week in office)

Field/substation visits may be required approximately 10% of the time. Personal vehicle use will be reimbursed for mileage. Travel will be within the Cincinnati area.

Must Haves:

• AutoCAD experience
• Associates degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering/Engineering Technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with electrical substation design or utility work is ideal.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce engineering drawings for assigned projects using AutoCAD.
• Provide engineering/technical expertise in problem identification, analysis, and resolution of increasing complexity.
• Contribute to team decision-making through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring work activities.

Additional Information:

This is an intermediate-level role requiring satisfactory performance of Assistant Design Technician tasks. Work is performed under general supervision. The candidate may specialize in a particular engineering discipline, perform non-routine assignments of moderate complexity from sketches or instructions, perform routine calculations, assist in resolving field problems, and coordinate with peers and other workgroups. May also check peers' work.
