Gepetto is a high-end millwork atelier in Boucherville, Québec. We design and fabricate custom kitchens, furniture, and interior built-ins, combining traditional craftsmanship with precision technology for exceptional residential and commercial projects.
Position overview
Working alongside the senior designer and production manager, you will produce detailed shop drawings and prepare the technical documents that guide fabrication of each millwork component.

Main responsibilities
- Produce detailed shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, assemblies) based on client concepts and specifications.
- Model components in 2D/3D using Microvellum, AutoCAD, and SketchUp (or equivalent software such as Revit).
- Generate and update material lists (BOM) and parts lists.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to validate technical feasibility and optimize workflows.
- Manage drawing revisions according to design changes and production constraints.
- Participate in project coordination meetings with designers, suppliers, and workshop staff.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project deadlines.
Required profile
- Diploma in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a millwork shop, carpentry, or furniture production environment.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Microvellum, or Revit is an asset.
- Good understanding of materials (solid wood, MDF, veneer, melamine, hardware).
- Strong attention to detail, rigor, and solid organizational skills.
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and customer-service mindset.
- Functional English (asset). Valid driver's licence required.
