Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader, Design & Trade in Vancouver to inspire the sales team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive brand goals, coach leaders, and deliver top-tier service while managing operations and payroll budgets.

You will analyze reports to optimize initiatives, maintain visual standards, and communicate effectively with the management team.

Qualifications

2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Partner with Store Manager to set goals and execute brand strategies in sales, operations, visual, HR and scheduling.
Lead and coach Team Leaders to meet sales, service and visual standards.
Address associate relations issues and elevate as needed to Store Manager.
Develop talent through coaching, training and performance management.
Delegate workloads and ensure plan execution across the store.
Analyze daily/weekly/monthly data to prioritize initiatives and maximize performance.
Communicate with management on sales, customer feedback and training needs.
Collaborate with direct reports and role-model teamwork.
Align the team with corporate events and promotions.
Maintain elevated customer service by modeling brand standards.
Participate in leadership routines and scheduling discussions.
Monitor payroll budget and adjust schedules proactively.
