Award-winning Dermatology practice has a Full-time need for a Clinical Dermatologist Medical Assistant requiring at least 2+ years experience working within a Dermatology Practice and clinical Dermatology procedures to join as a permanent member of our team in Centreville and Rockville, MD.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years experience within a Dermatology Clinic (REQUIRED)
- Lead Medical Assistant or Medical Assistant
- Assisting Physician with Dermatology procedures: Suture removal, sterilization
- Post-op physician instructions, Prescription refills, Prior-Auths
- EMR System: EMA (preferred)
Pay Range:
$23.47/hr - $26.74/hr (based on experience)
Shift:
Mon to Fri, 8a - 5p (Full-time, 40 hours/week guaranteed)

Responsibilities:
- Interview patients, obtain medical info, measure vital signs
- Show patients to examination rooms, prepare them for physician
- Record medical history, medications, allergies, test results
- Obtain proper consent forms prior to treatment
- Prepare and administer medications following safety protocols
- Collect laboratory specimens
- Explain treatment procedures and physicians' instructions to patients
- Assist physicians with examinations and treatments, including injections and sutures
- Assist with minor skin procedures such as dressings and suture removal
Requirements:
- 2-3 years recent experience in a Dermatology Clinical setting, preferably including internal medicine
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of sterile techniques, anatomy, medications
- Detail-oriented, professional, reliable
- Strong organizational skills to support leadership
- Proficiency in medication administration and protocols
- Excellent patient service and communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical management systems
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond promptly
- Inhalation therapies knowledge is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a medical assistant required
