As a Depth Artist, you will create and refine the depth information that forms the foundation of the 3D conversion process. You’ll analyze footage, interpret spatial relationships, build depth maps, and sculpt depth across complex film shots to create convincing foreground, midground, and background separation.
This is a highly visual role that combines artistic judgment, technical skill, and an understanding of cinematic storytelling. You’ll work closely with Stereo Leads, Supervisors and Stereo Compositors to translate creative depth direction into compelling, consistent results on screen.
This is a remote contract position through December 23, 2026, with possibility of extension. Preference will be given to candidates based in British Columbia or Quebec.
