As Depot Operations Manager, you will oversee daily depot staff operations, emphasizing safety, performance, and productivity.

Our location: 295 Thompson Avenue, Hiram, Georgia 30141, United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of employees to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and procedures.
• Monitor operational activities to ensure KPIs meet acceptable standards.
• Meet customer needs and commitments.
• Assist in establishing goals and objectives for production, profitability, safety, and compliance that align with regional and business unit targets.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback to employees as needed.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Collaborate with local union representatives (if applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned, including administrative and non-administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in railyard operations or a related field.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and MS Office suite.
• Strong work ethic and leadership by example.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening, including adherence to FRA safety regulations and prohibition of cannabis use.
• Open availability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing railyard or similar logistical operations.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong coaching and team development skills.
