Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced DevOps professional in Toronto to deploy and maintain software platforms across client and internal environments. You will leverage Kubernetes/K3s, Docker, and Helm for deployments and upgrades, while refining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

You will troubleshoot issues spanning Linux, networking, and containers, and engage with customers during installation and testing.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, deployment, system integration, or a similar role.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, deployment, system integration, or a similar role
Good hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes/K3s, Docker, and Helm
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of IP networking, including TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, routing, and firewalls
Experience with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Good verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working directly with customers
Telecom or wireless experience is a plus
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar monitoring tools is a plus
Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other automation tools is a plus
Experience deploying software in on-premise or edge computing environments is a plus
