Job summary

Jobtailor in Montreal seeks a DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and automate deployment infrastructure for Tecsys services, leveraging AWS/Azure and Kubernetes. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, monitor stability, and collaborate with dev teams to scale platforms while adopting AI-assisted automation.

Fluency in English required; Canadian work eligibility. This role emphasizes infrastructure as code, incident response playbooks, on-call support, and close collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience supporting high-volume, highly available Java/.NET production systems.
• 2+ years of production experience with AWS or Azure.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix, Bash, scripting, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure infrastructure, including IAM, EC2, VPC, load balancing, and autoscaling.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, or Nagios.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Canadian citizen, Canadian permanent resident, or holder of a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Participate in prototyping, architecting, and building the development, production, and test infrastructure supporting Tecsys services.
• Build and automate client infrastructure deployments
• Design scalable deployment, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation solutions across the Tecsys platform lifecycle
• Leverage artificial intelligence agents to orchestrate and accelerate technical tasks while validating results
• Develop deployment logic, automated tests, and incident response playbooks
• Manage AWS/Azure infrastructure, hybrid architectures, Kubernetes, and container environments
• Monitor platform stability, resolve incidents, and participate in on-call support
• Collaborate with development teams on deployment automation and infrastructure scalability
