Job summary

RONA in Rouyn-Noranda is seeking a Department Manager for Plumbing, Flooring and Appliances to lead a dynamic retail team and drive customer satisfaction.

You will supervise staff, coordinate merchandising and promotions, and ensure store goals are met while maintaining an inclusive and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in personnel management.
• Experience managing a retail business.
• Strong leadership, resourceful and autonomous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company’s requirements.
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager’s directions.
• Supervise the replenishment process.
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives; stay aware of trends and competitors to develop marketing strategy.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility.
• Determine work schedule while complying with the labour budget and ensuring customer needs are met.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
