Job summary

RONA is looking for a Store Supervisor to lead daily retail operations, oversee the team, and ensure a consistently high level of customer service. You’ll resolve issues promptly, safeguard store standards, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment where employees feel valued.

You’ll manage merchandising, scheduling, and promotions, support staff recruitment, monitor inventory, and align activities with the store’s budget and company initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in personnel management
• Experience managing a retail business
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company’s requirements
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager’s directions
• Supervise the replenishment process
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
