Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with dental practice software (Open Dental) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the practice.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments by phone, email, or text.
• Register patients and update insurance and medical history.
• Verify insurance coverage, handle claims and estimates.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and assist with payment plans.
• Answer inquiries via phone, email, text, or in person about services and fees.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records.
