Job summary

Dr. Seema Steffens Dentistry in Mississauga is seeking a caring Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing team, effective immediately. We value a friendly, patient-focused approach and a strong work ethic to fit into our dental family.

You will assist with impressions, x-rays, crown/bridge procedures, and cosmetic dentistry while continuing to learn. Evening availability is required, and computer skills are essential to manage patient records and imaging.

Qualifications

• HARP Certification and experience taking intra-oral radiographs.
• Dental assistant experience is required.
• Sterilization and instrument reprocessing experience.
• Independent, dedicated, and caring individual.
• Familiar with impressions, x-rays, crown/bridge procedures, and cosmetic dentistry.
• Willingness to work some evenings during the week.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures and prepare treatment rooms.
• Take impressions and radiographs as needed.
• Sterilize and reprocess instruments between patients.
• Support patient comfort and explain procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling.

We are looking for a caring and committed Certified Dental Assistant for our growing dental office in Mississauga, effective immediately. Our office is expanding and we would love to hire an exceptional dental assistant who takes pride in their work and can be a part of our dental family!

Position Requirements

• HARP Certification (and experience taking intra-oral radiographs)

• Sterilization / Instrument Reprocessing Experience.
• An independent, dedicated, committed, and caring individual.

Our office is looking for a team player; someone who is organized, has good communication skills and is a responsible person. Most importantly, our office is looking for someone who really enjoys serving patients and has a natural enthusiasm for the field of dentistry.

You must be familiar with taking impressions, x-rays, crown/bridge procedures, most aspects of cosmetic dentistry, and be motivated to continue learning. Computer knowledge is also required. Availability to work some evenings during the week is also required.
